So it's been a little over a month since I last posted a journal that wasn't a tag, and about 12 weeks since I last posted one that contains anything remotely resembling an actual journal SO BRACE YOUR ASS AND CLENCH YOUR TEETH, HERE GOES!

My favourite time of year is upon us once again, so merry christmas happy hannukah rollicking ramadan and so on. I suspect the irony dripping from my tone is somewhat lost in text form, but now you know anyway

I've got a few ideas bouncing round my head right now, so there MAY even be a deviation or two in the works, but don't hold me to it because we all know I'm a quitter and I won't follow through.

For music, of late I've been listening to Rage and Deftones, so if anyone has any suggestions along those lines send them my way.

IN SUMMARY:
Nothing's new, I just wanted the tag off my front page. Things are good, life is good, ALL I CAN SAY IS THAT MY LIFE IS PRETTY PLAIN, I LIKE WATCHING THE PUDDLES GATHER RAIN.

Which is a perfect description of how I was sitting when I read it, so I guess that means I'm tagged .

1. I get distracted really easily, and I can't multitask to save my life. Talking to me on Skype is probably a painful experience
2. Of everyone I know on this site, there are only three that I dislike. I honestly do like the rest of you

4. I never actually wanted to join dA in the first place, really. The account was made for me, which is why it differs from my username everywhere else, which is "frozenjakalope", no hyphen, all lower-case.
5. I have email on my phone, but there are only three people I'm aware of that know the address. And only one of them has ever actually used it.
6. I've been trying to make something remotely artistic for the last 6 weeks, but between work and keeping up with friends, I haven't had enough time to force my way past my natural lack of creativity.
7. I'm getting promoted at work . I'll be a team leader, working full time and making about 3x as much money as I do now per year.
8. I'm worried that said promotion will stop me from getting on dAmn like, ever.
9. I don't think I could ever leave dA. Sorry, I'm here to stay
10. I have an obsessive personality. See my last.fm to see what I mean. I'm the same with movies (I once watched X-Men every night for 3 months), TV shows (3-day long Atlantis marathon ftw) and... just about everything.

I don't think I've ever been so... what's the word I'm after here? Appalled? Shocked? Disappointed. I've never been so disappointed with this community as I have been with the comments on this news article. Let me be clear here, an issue that's as morally straightforward as gay marriage is overshadowed by a (seemingly bogus) accusation of art theft?

Some of the people who've been watching me for a while may remember this journal, in which I asked for songs with awesome lyrics. I've recently rediscovered my love of writing on walls in Sharpie, and I'm starting this again.

HOWEVER

This list is old, I last updated it almost 18 months ago. I'm going to do a quick scat through and strike out any that I've done since then, and add/delete a few things.
